Twisted Tuesday
Today will now be known as Twisted Tuesday.
Look what I accomplished with this crazy little gadget that I purchased at London-Wul.
(100% Alpaca Fingering weight, plain weave on 10DPI heddle.)
It twists the fringe for you, and thank heavens. I twisted the other end of the scarf the night before without the 'gadget' and my hand is still cramped.
And a special thanks to Dorin for lending me this terrific book that not only serves as a good weight to hold down the scarf as I twist the fringe but has great information on finishing weaving projects (ironic isn't it LOL).
Oh, and don't forget to check out Heidi's blog. There was a write up in the Boston Globe on Sunday about the shop. Congrats Heidi!!

The scarf is... flabbergasting. Don't you have in-betweens? You seem to jump from practicing to fabulous fine weaving in just one project. Amazing!!
Fringe twister... yes. I bought mine the day after hand twisting fringes of a scarf at 1am in the bathroom of a hotel room (while the kids slept in the room) so that it would be ready for demo on the next day.
I have the same book. Isn't it great?
Manon
What a beautiful scarf!!! I agree with Manon - you seem to move from just starting to wonderful - I seem to be all learning curve...
