Winter Rush
Who would have thought January could possibly be busier than December, but it is.
I've been doing plenty of knitting and spinning but there's been no time to blog about it. Now I have about 10 minutes to share a bit of what I'm up to.
I've been teaching classes at London-Wul !!
There is a class day coming up on February 3.
For details contact London-Wul and more info is here.
Stay tuned for an upcoming Toe-Up sock class on February 17th!!
Aside from the class prep, I'm working on two projects to kind of go along with the London-Wul Bags with Blankets KAL that meets on Sunday afternoons.
Here is my Messenger Bag. The pattern is out of Interweave Holiday Gifts magazine.
And even though this isn't a blanket this is my second project for the KAL:
It is a shawl knit with handspun merino silk blend from Louet. I loved the way it spun up in this thicker weight and I can't wait to spin more again. Heidi promised she'd order some so I'm keeping my eyes open at LW :)
There are a few other projects on the needles but one New Year project is the Herringbone Mittens. I'm learning to knit with two strands, one in each hand, and this is a great project to start with.
Some readers have mentioned lately that the pictures on my blog take too long to load. If you find this post loads better please let me know because I've tried something different.
Until the next 10 minutes I find... Happy Knitting to all!
